about me
I love to read comics and I love to make comics. I work as a designer and creative director in the lovely city of Richmond, VA with my family. I’m an avid music lover and guitar player. My debut graphic novel, Heavy Kill, came out in March 2022. My second graphic novel, Bridge Planet Nine, was released in October 2025 from Top Shelf Comix.

Praise for Bridge Planet Nine
“The suspense is palpable and so is the violence, making this an excellent book for adult sci-fi readers. With just the right amount of social commentary, this is a well-balanced, expertly paced page-turner of a stand-alone graphic novel.”
Starred Booklist Review
“On the surface, it presents as a gritty sci-fi heist set in the far reaches of space, but it quickly evolves into a tense character drama infused with seriously dark, cult-driven horror. It is a dense, rewarding read that demands patience and pays it back in full.”
KPB Comics
“The action and drama unfold seamlessly, immersing readers in the story’s brutal scope. The black-and-white artwork adds a sleek, tense atmosphere that enhances the overall experience, offering a level of visual boldness rare in such comics.”
First Comics News
“I highly recommend you track down Bridge Planet Nine as soon as possible and dive right in; I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it and I doubt you’ll be able to, either.”
Comic Watch
“Expertly paced, Bridge Planet Nine is equal parts thrilling and original.”

Praise for Heavy Kill
“Throne puts in solid work building the world and the supporting characters along with the main character… The character development is detailed and believable, and the overall plot has plenty to chew on.”
